Our Mission
Our mission is to help needy individuals and families in our community by providing nourishing food in a welcoming environment and by educating local businesses, organizations, and the general public about the often-unseen problem of food insecurity in Portsmouth and surrounding area.

The Guild Brewing Co, Warren to host Aquidneck Food Pantry the evening of August 13 for their annual fundraising event to highlight our mission. Please stop by our table to meet and greet our dedicated volunteers and to learn about our mission to feed those with food insecurity.
Our beer named, Hops for Hope is available August 13-27. With every purchase of Hops for Hope , a portion of the proceeds will benefit the food pantry. So, when your visit the Guild Brewing Company, please request Hops for Hope.

AQUIDNECK FOOD PANTRY SELECTED AS OFFICIAL CHARITABLE BENEFICIARY OF THE 2026 CITIZENS PELL BRIDGE RUN, SUNDAY AUGUST 30!
We are thrilled to share that Aquidneck Food Pantry has been chosen as an official charitable beneficiary for the 2026 Citizens Pell Bridge Run organized by Gray Matter Marketing, LLC. This incredible community event takes place on Sunday, August 30, 7:00AM - 10:00AM, with registration available on Friday, August 28 and Saturday, August 29.

If you’re a runner, jogger, or walker who wants to support our mission of fighting food insecurity on Aquidneck Island and beyond, we invite you to pick up your bib in person and meet our Aquidneck Food Pantry volunteers on Friday, August 28 - 3:30 PM - 7:00 PM at Ragged Island Brewing Company, 54 Bristol Ferry Rd, Portsmouth, RI.
Pick Up Food
We have pre-set amounts of packaged and fresh items for pickup based on the number of adults and children you are picking up for. We supplement with additional fresh items as they are available.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Wednesdays and Fridays: 10am - 4pm
LOCATION:
HOW TO PICK UP FOOD:
1. Drive into the coned-off lane in front of 137 Chase Road, Portsmouth RI.
2. A Food Pantry Volunteer will come out and ask you how many people are in your family.
3. The Volunteer will return with pre-bagged items, including canned and fresh items as available.
