Our Mission
Our mission is to help needy individuals and families in our community by providing nourishing food in a welcoming environment and by educating local businesses, organizations, and the general public about the often-unseen problem of food insecurity in Portsmouth and surrounding area.

United Way 401Gives Fundraiser to benefit the Aquidneck Food Pantry!
Date/Time: March 31 at 6am through April 1 at 6pm - (United Way is shifted the giving period back to honor Passover)
Powered by the Alliance for Nonprofit Impact at United Way of RI. 401Gives brings people together to make a difference for local nonprofits that deliver vital services to our communities in Newport County and RI; and offers donors a safe, comfortable, and familiar virtual fundraising experience, while giving nonprofits unrestricted funds that strengthen our mission.

Pick Up Food
We have pre-set amounts of packaged and fresh items for pickup based on the number of adults and children you are picking up for. We supplement with additional fresh items as they are available.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Wednesdays and Fridays: 10am - 4pm
LOCATION:
HOW TO PICK UP FOOD:
1. Drive into the coned-off lane in front of 137 Chase Road.
2. A Food Pantry Volunteer will come out and ask you how many people are in your family.
3. The Volunteer will return with pre-bagged items, including canned and fresh items as available.
