Aquidneck Food Pantry, formerly known as the St. John’s Lodge Food Bank, is a local food resource located in Portsmouth, RI, with amazing volunteers and services for our community.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help needy individuals and families in our community by providing nourishing food in a welcoming environment and by educating local businesses, organizations, and the general public about the often-unseen problem of food insecurity in Portsmouth and surrounding area.

Come join us for fun and laughs at the Aquidneck Food Pantry’s Comedy Fundraiser at the VFW, Portsmouth RI.
To purchase tickets, please stop by the food panty location on Sprague Street, contact us on Facebook, or ask one of our friendly, dedicated volunteers.
We will offer a 50/50 Raffle, Raffle Items and a “Buy It Now” table. Raffle items will consist of NE Patriots Collections, Houseware Items, DVD Movie Packages, Children’s Toys, Handmade Blankets, Appliances, Electronics, Jewelry, Fashion, and Liquor and Wine Party Baskets galore!

We kindly ask each guest to bring a non-perishable food item to support AFP’s pantry.
Aquidneck Food Pantry volunteers will be on-site to chat with the guests to learn more about our mission to feed our community in need.

Pick Up Food
We have pre-set amounts of packaged and fresh items for pickup based on the number of adults and children you are picking up for. We supplement with additional fresh items as they are available.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Wednesdays and Fridays,
10am - 4pm

HOW TO PICK UP FOOD:
1. Drive into the coned-off lane in the parking lot of 81 Sprague Street.
2. A Food Pantry Volunteer will come out and ask you how many people are in your family.
3. The Volunteer will return with pre-bagged items, including canned and fresh items as available.
